About

About the writer:

Dan Tobin has a checkered writing past, ranging from college alumni magazines to television sitcoms. He lives in Boston with his awesome wife, hyperactive dog, and astoundingly fuzzy cats.

He can be reached at dan (at) urbanblah (dot) com

About the illustrator:

Lovisa Loiselle is a freelance illustrator/hausfrau from roughly the middle of Canada. When not riveted to the artboard, she spends her time stuffing her head with all kinds of media foofara, twitching from innumerable chai lattes, and lamenting that while part of the wheat belt, she cannot find a tasty multi-grain bread.

She can be reached at lovisa (at) urbanblah (dot) com

About the name:

One of Dan’s favorite books as a kid was Jack Kent’s The Blah, in which a small boy feels overlooked in life because he’s just a blah. He draws an army of blahs and imagines a quest to avenge his brother’s crayon-stomping ways. If city living and trying to be a grownup makes you feel like a bit of a blah, then this webcomic may be for you.
